Summer College Experience
At Cal State East Bay

SLED knows that the thought of going to college can be daunting for many students. Lots of families and students are concerned about the cost of college. Some students can’t imagine how different college life can be than high school curriculum. And the whole thing can be intimidating!

Once again, we have teamed up with Cal State East Bay to offer a weeklong immersive college experience to San Leandro high school students. Open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors, this action-packed week will include tours, guest faculty lectures, eating in the dining hall, meeting students and SLHS alumni, talks about how to afford college, and even (optional) stay overnight in the dorms.

This experience is fully funded by SLED. This year’s cohort is full, but contact SLED at info@sledfund.org to be put on the waitlist.
