College Summer Internships

SLED education experiences don’t end at high school. 

Thanks in large part to the extraordinary commitment from Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, SLED facilitates summer internship opportunities for San Leandro high school graduates who are attending college. Ghirardelli’s intern program reserves multiple jobs for our local graduates only, providing an incredible learning experience for San Leandro grads.

This year, Ghirardelli has created a whopping 9 internship positions, exclusively for San Leandro High/Lincoln High graduates who are entering their junior or senior year of college. 

As a guest at the last two summers of internship presentations, I can attest to the incredible level of career experience and guidance these students get. Letters to students have gone out, but if you/your student is eligible and didn’t get a letter, email info@sledfund.org for more information.
